Sociology studies human society and social behavior. In sociology, students will examine the relationships between culture, violence, deviance, social control, socialization and personality, group behavior, social class, and social institutions. The key component of this class will be to study how society functions and to evaluate the relationship between ourselves as individuals and society as a whole.
