Welcome Back to School!!!

         Hello! I am Mrs. Jennifer Pitts and I am the 6th- 9th Grade Special Education Teacher.  My husband, Lee Pitts, does small drywall jobs in the area and just began working for Adkin Energy in Lena, Illinois.  I have a daughter named Madison Lott who is a graphic designer for Head2Toe Custom Apparel & Design in Lena, Illinois.  I also have a son named Cody Pitts who will be a senior at Bradley University.  His goal is to become a Mechanical Engineer.  

       I have lived in Pearl City for 20 years.  I am from a rural area near Sterling, Illinois and went to Sterling High School.  I am also a graduate of Sauk Valley Community College and Northern Illinois University.

       This is my 30th year teaching Special Education.  I taught K-5 Special Education for 19 years for the Forrestville Valley School District, 6th-8th grade Special Education for one year for the Orangeville School District, then moved to the Pearl City School District.  This is my 10th year as a 6th-8th grade Special Education Teacher for Pearl City School.  I absolutely love teaching and helping my students!  It is my mission to install a love for learning in my students.  Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.  It is important to keep communication open between us and I would love to talk to you whenever you feel the need.  The best way to get a hold of me is through email.  Please email me at [email protected] and I can arrange a time to call or meet with you in person.  I look forward to a great year together!
